- Form Black Pectoral is
the most black species of the genus Altolamprologus calvus.
As the name suggests, chest and mainly
pectoral fins of the fish are black, which is the main fearure that makes
them different from other forms. However, they do not differ in the way
they are bred and reared.
- A. Calvus,
which is a typical predator, is a fish waiting calmly for the prey to get
into its reach. Then, with mouth open wide, the fish strongly sucks,
catches and swallows the prey.
